3/15/2009 Don Currie 100' Beautiful cave. We dove the mainline, while Walter's group headed up to Paanah. The whole place is one class act. Sergio and Pep have done a great job with this place. The hammocks and the lunch were also welcome! Photos at Don Currie Photos
3/15/2009 Walter Pickel 100' The was my first time diving Caracol and not being required to have a guide. I led the dive. First we had a GREAT dive up to Paanah. Next we went up to the second jump and went as far as backmount was acceptable. Lastly, we passed the other group exiting and headed up the mainline for another 20 minutes. Caracol is always amazing!
10/12/2007 Walter Pickel 100' Explored some new passage with Sergio. As always this system is incredible and still revealing many new leads.
3/1/2007 Walter Pickel 100 Did a great dive back around 4,000. We did the mainline to a new tunnel and continued exploring that line. Green water section was stunning.
12/3/2006 Walter Pickel 100+ What an amazing system. Pep and Sergio led this dive as this was our first time in the system. This was a shakedown dive to work out any kinks in the sponsor provided gear. We did the cavern circuit as well as some in the cave. Heavily decorated, no flow -- AMAZING!
